Come and say G'Day
is not just an expression to the Australians, or "Aussies"
as they even call themselves. It's a real part of the welcome
you'll feel as you travel throughout Australia.
Another popular expression
is "no worries, mate." They mean every bit of that too.
Traveling in Australia is pretty much a "no worries" proposition,
as Aussies consider you a "mate," a buddy or friend.
Australia welcomes you to visit its many regions. Try the cosmopolitan
yet friendly city of Sydney. The “Harbour” is not to
be missed! Hunter Valley Wineries, seaside escapes. Cairns with
its access to rainforests, aboriginal culture, the tablelands,
and the Great Barrier Reef. Darwin, gateway Kakadu National Park
of Crocodile Dundee fame. Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kings
Canyon in the glorious Red Center.
Coober Pedy with its underground houses and opal mines. Adelaide
and Kangaroo Island, a treat for the animal lovers. Melbourne, the
pride of Victoria, city of churches and the arts. Perth and Fremantle,
home for a time to the America’s Cup. Broome and the Kimberley.
Virtually unexplored by tourists! It’s as large as the US
so you may not see it all the first time. A perfect excuse to come
back again and say G’Day!
I have been to Australia time after time and still find new
and
exciting things to see and do, from Sydney to Perth, Melbourne
to Tasmania, Adelaide and Kangaroo Island to Darwin, Ayers Rock
to Cairns. Let’s plan a trip!
There are many reputable
tour operators to this area of the world. Some of my favorites are
Qantas Vacations and Springboard Vacations for Cool Capers
with Kids.
